Pages From my heart

This page consists of creative writing pieces that I've written over the past couple of months aside from some of my longer works. The title "Pages from my heart" comes from the name of my high school journal where most of these pieces were written. Enjoy!

The bridge

This poem is about my identity as Indian-American living in the United States. The juxtaposition between being "too Indian" and "too American" was a large part of my childhood.

A blueprint

My junior year, I thought I had everything figured out, but everything came to light. A sudden realization that I didn't have it all planned. Rushing thoughts that I couldn't keep up with any longer.
